News On Ayodhya | Ayodhya Verdict Latest News

News On Ayodhya-Ahead of the Ayodhya title suit verdict, the Centre has identified 32 locations across the country where it apprehends trouble and kept forces in readiness at 16 places for quick deployment, including by heavy lift aircraft like IL-76.

On the eve of the Ayodhya verdict, the Center and state governments put the country under a heavy blanket of security though Union Home Minister P Chidambaram was absolutely certain that India had moved on since 1992 and had emerged a far bigger story that could be derailed over a land dispute.

He said the Centre had taken all adequate measures to ensure there is no trouble on Thursday.

Chidambaram said he does no “foresee any problems” as almost all political parties, religious groups and those associated with the Ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid title suits have said they would respect the court verdict.

“But, as government, we have to take measures. So we have deployed adequate forces,” he told reporters.

“The Central government has deployed adequate security forces all over the country to assist the state governments to maintain law, order and peace,” he said.
